Duskloom · last updated 3 August 2026
Duskloom collects nothing about you, because it cannot. The app makes no network requests at all.
What we collect
Nothing. No account, no email address, no name, no device identifier, no advertising ID, no location, no analytics, no crash reporting, no cookies.
Why we can say that so plainly
Every sound in Duskloom is generated on your device as it plays, rather than streamed or downloaded. There is no server for the app to talk to, so there is no channel through which anything about you could leave your phone. You can verify this: put the phone in airplane mode and the app works exactly as it does online.
What stays on your device
Your levels, your saved mixes, your chosen hero shape and your day or night preference are stored locally on the phone. They are never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes them.
Purchases
If you buy Duskloom Complete, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see your name, your email address or any payment details. We use RevenueCat to check whether a purchase is valid, which involves your anonymous store receipt and a random identifier — never anything that identifies you personally. Their privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Notifications
If you set the wake alarm, the app asks the operating system to show a notification at that time. The alarm is scheduled on your device and is not sent anywhere.
Children
Duskloom is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, children included.
Your rights
Rights such as access, correction, deletion and portability apply to personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing to request, and nothing for us to hand over if we were ever asked.
Changes
If this ever stops being true — if a future version needs the network for something — we will update this page and say so clearly in the release notes before the change ships.
